Central Christian Church – Response to the Virus and Ministry Plan
Your Central Christian Church Board and Elders met last night to decide how to move forward. CCC will be following the Governor’s provisions by limiting gatherings to ten people. That being said, we have an opportunity to do new ways of ministry that we will begin this Sunday and continue through April 13th.
We will have a Facebook Live worship at 10AM on Sundays. We will have music, a worship leader, a sermon, prayer, praise, and communion. People essential to providing the service will be at the church, while we encourage everyone else to watch from home. Peg Semke will be contacting those needed for the music portion of worship. We are working to have worship available on the new IPTV system through Jefferson Telecom as well.
We will continue to have small group gatherings for bible study, devotions, committees, NA and AA meetings. We will not have ALIVE until school resumes. The church office will remain open to help with communication and connecting members. Please see the attached updated calendar for March with any questions.
The Elders will be meeting again next Tuesday to reevaluate and will communicate any changes. We encourage members to stay connected, reach out to those that are homebound or vulnerable by phone, mail, and email. We are working with the Youth and Family Committee on ways to stay connected to our ALIVE families and others in the church.
There will be no congregational meeting on March 22, 2020 and the building project is on hold due to the circumstances.
This body of Christ will be able to take the opportunity to minister in a new way, and celebrate the Resurrection of Jesus Christ this Lenten Season.
Matthew 6:34 “Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.”
Sincerely, Bonnie Silbaugh
Please let an Elder or the church office know of any prayer request or any other needs.

“We are Disciples of Christ, a movement for wholeness in a fragmented world. As part of the one body of Christ we welcome all to the Lord’s Table as God has welcomed us.”
It is so exciting to have you visit our website. We are hopeful that you will see how we, as members of Central Christian Church, proclaim the Gospel message of God’s Grace, love, and acceptance to all. Please take some time to look over our four core ministries of Worship, Youth and Family, Outreach, and Discipleship. These four core ministries are so important as Central Christian has discerned God’s will for us to continue to build relationships in God’s world with Christian love. These four core ministries are pushing us out into the community to “Go and make disciples”, bringing people together to “Worship God with all your heart, mind, and very being”, and continue to “Love one another as Jesus has loved us”. I would love for you to join us on a Christian journey of a lifetime as we praise God, make disciples, and love on others.
FOSTER. DEVELOP. GROW. SERVE.
Our mission is to foster, develop, and grow into a living relationship with God, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit.
