Youth are invited to get creative in our open art studio. Whether your student is interested in drawing, painting, sculpting, collage, writing…we will provide the supplies! YOU provide the creativity. Student artwork is showcased several times during the year at CCC.
The third floor studio space is open at 2 p.m. on Wednesdays. Students may work on their own art project or schedule a music lesson.
For students interested in, or currently pursuing an instrument, we offer coaching sessions. You are invited to bring your own instrument, or we can set you up! Currently, students are pursuing guitar, piano, trumpet, trombone, flute and more! Private mentoring sessions should be scheduled. The multi generational band gathers at 4:00 p.m. on Sundays to rehearse, and plays several times during the year for church services. Musicians of ALL ages and abilities are invited to join us! We have instruments available to borrow, if needed.
ALIVE is open to all ages and is an evening of fun, fellowship, and learning for kids (and adults). We meet each Wednesday, 5- 6:30 p.m. with a meal provided. This outreach uses the Orange Curriculum provided by Think Orange with the goal of connecting the church and the home, to work together to influence a child’s life. We have leaders who attend conferences and trainings to better understand how best to help achieve this goal. We welcome around 50 youth each week to this program which is open to all denominations/faith backgrounds.
